Doom Remake 2002 (Knee-Deep In The Dead)

This is the Doom Remake from 2002 (Not the recent banned one). This is a playthrough of the first episode Knee-Deep In the Dead. It's mainly just a texture, sprite and music update. It has 3D models. I have uploaded this just to show people who have not seen it.

Man sent to morgue ‘still alive’ after doctor opens body bag ‘to find his eyes open’

A hospital in Australia is under investigation after nurses allegedly sent a man to the morgue in a body bag while still alive.

Kevin Reid, a palliative care patient, supposedly died in Rockingham General Hospital on 5 September. But a doctor’s discovery suggests the patient could have actually died on 6 September – despite having already been sent to the morgue.

The realisation that a grave error was made struck when the doctor unzipped the body bag and found fresh blood on the patient’s gown and saw his eyes were open, according to reports.

On 5 September, nurses believed Mr Reid, 55, died and sent him to the morgue after informing his family. A doctor had not attended to certify the patient’s death before he was sent to the morgue, which the hospital attributed to staff shortages.

The hospital also said there had been confusion because two patients had died in a very short space of time.

The following day, a doctor went to certify Mr Reid’s death after an organ donation organisation requested permission to take his organs.

As well as the doctor spotting fresh blood and the patient’s eyes open, two of the corpse’s limbs had reportedly moved, raising the alarm Mr Reid may have been alive when he was transferred to the body bag.

The doctor alerted the state coroner after he was reportedly asked to backdate Mr Reid’s death date by senior hospital staff. An investigation was swiftly opened by Western Australia’s Coroner’s Court.

“I believe the frank blood from a new skin tear, arm position and eye signs were inconsistent with a person who was post-mortem on arrival at the morgue,” the doctor wrote in his report to the coroner, as reported by Business News.

Paul Forden, chief executive of South Metropolitan Health Service, said that the patient’s family had been present at his bedside for some time after nurses announced his death.

He also clarified that the investigation being done by health officials was looking into “protocols following the death of a patient” and stressed that it was not investigating whether or not the patient was alive.

Skyrim Anniversary Edition on Switch is Experiencing Major Frame Rate Problems

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Anniversary Edition appears to have major frame rate issues when played on the Switch. Bethesda released a special Skyrim Anniversary Edition on November 11, 2021, to mark the game’s 10-year anniversary. This version came with added Creation Club content, and owners of Skyrim Special Edition could purchase an upgrade at a reduced cost.

Skyrim Anniversary Edition recently came out on the Switch as a digital-only title. It’s available at a surprising price point of $69.99, making it as expensive as many current-generation games on PS5 and Xbox Series X. It’s also $10 more expensive than the original version of Skyrim which came out in November 2017 on the Nintendo eShop. While the idea of playing Skyrim Anniversary Edition on the go sounds exciting, it looks like the Switch version is suffering from major performance issues.

A Reddit user named fmo94 has shared a clip of how Skyrim Anniversary Edition runs on the Switch. As seen in the video, this version of Skyrim suffers from performance issues and fmo94 asks other fans not to buy the product. While it’s not fair to compare the Switch version to its counterpart on other platforms, users probably expected better performance out of a re-release of such an old game.

One player claims that the original version of Skyrim runs fine on the Switch. However, some users appear to be having difficulty installing Skyrim without the Anniversary Edition content. Another gamer aims to explain these problems and blames Bethesda’s coding for the stuttering issues. They mention that the game runs fine after deactivating the 74 mods that came with the Creation Club content, before expressing frustration at the asking price.

This appears to be a common complaint, as other users also make fun of Bethesda asking for $69.99 for Skyrim Anniversary Edition on the Switch. One fan plans to buy the game when it goes on sale for $40, but another points out that the PS5 version of Skyrim can be found for around $25. Overall, many gamers seem puzzled by the fact that a game as old as Skyrim has trouble running the Switch.

Since its release in 2017, publishers have released several ports of AAA games on the Switch. Many of these ports are impressive, including Doom Eternal and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, so it’s disappointing to see Skyrim Anniversary Edition suffer from major performance problems on the device.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Anniversary Edition is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
