Rebirth Island Coming to Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, according to rumour

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, the mobile version of the popular battle royale game, may be getting a new map, Rebirth Island, according to a recent rumour.

The rumour comes from a Twitter user named @just4leaks2, who claims that Warzone Mobile will receive new regions, including Rebirth Island, as well as a content update for the Team Deathmatch experience.

For those who are unfamiliar, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is a mobile version of the popular battle royale game, Warzone, that takes place in the same Verdansk map. Like the original game, Warzone Mobile is free-to-play and also features cross-progression with Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0.

If the rumours of Rebirth Island coming to Warzone Mobile are true, it would put the upcoming mobile title ahead of the original Warzone, now called Warzone Caldera. Warzone Caldera is now a game mode in Modern Warfare 2019 and only features the game's polarizing Caldera map.

With both Verdansk and Rebirth Island being such fan-favourites, the launch of Warzone Mobile could see plenty of players flock to their mobile devices for a Call of Duty fix.

Warzone Mobile is currently only available as a Limited Release in Australia, but with the title still a work-in-progress, many are hoping to see the game get its global release later this year.

While these rumours have not yet been confirmed by the developers, it's exciting to think about the possibilities of what Warzone Mobile could bring to the table. The addition of Rebirth Island, along with new regions and a content update for the Team Deathmatch experience, would certainly be a welcome addition to the mobile game.

Stay tuned for any official announcements and updates on the development of Warzone Mobile. In the meantime, get your mobile devices ready for some intense battle royale action in Verdansk and possibly, Rebirth Island.
